Because of how Safari identifies itself, whenever a new version is released it is often identified as the earliest version of Safari we have on record, which is 0.8.2. At Adobe, we only update browser identification (also known as lookups tables) on scheduled Maintenance Releases, which roughly happen every four weeks (Thursday afternoon MST time). Tested on production 1.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5-based 13-inch MacBook Pro systems with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and prerelease macOS Big Sur. Tested with prerelease Safari 14.0.1 and Chrome v85.0.4183.121. Performance will vary based on usage, system configuration, network connection, and other factors. The latest version of Safari is 14.0 on Mac Informer. It is a perfect match for Browsers in the Internet Tools category. The app is developed by Apple Inc. And its user rating is 4.3 out of 5.
